Green Promise

As with many Leggett & Platt manufacturing branches, L&P Wire-Tie Systems functions as a green operation. By beginning its wire-making process with a substantial amount of recycled scrap steel, L&P Wire-Tie benefits the environment by "upcycling," the process of giving new, recycled products more value rather than less. Our waste-stream management maximizes recycling and minimizing the need to landfill. Overall, close to one million tons of recycled scrap steel are used in the manufacture of Leggett & Platt products each year.

Additionally, we aid the environmental by serving the recycling, scrap, and waste industries.
